In review of Pocono Elite's weather policy (which is based off the guidance given by USAFlag).  Most of the time we will play games in the rain and/or snow.   Practices under those conditions are optional.   
  
If there is thunder at the scheduled time we will postpone for 30 minutes and resume unless it continues to thunder, in that case game/practice would be cancelled.  

If it is a downpour (significant amount of rain) at the scheduled time, we will postpone for 30 minutes and resume unless the downpour lasts longer, in that case we would have to cancel games/practice.  

If a significant amount of rain has fallen and the fields are flooded games/practice will be cancelled.  

In all cases we will communicate postponement and cancellations most quickly via this text string.  I will make every effort to communicate 45 minutes prior to start of practice.  For games, the league will typically notify coaches directly and teams directly via Band app, as soon as practical to postpone or cancel games/practices.   
  
Pocono Elite totally understand and respects your individual decision for your player(s) if you decided to keep your player from attending  game and/or practices during any inclement weather conditions.   Player will not be held accountable for non attendance.

Depending on circumstances, scheduled games may or may not be rescheduled.  In some cases we may have to cancel practice or forfeit games if we do not have enough players present.  As a courtesy to your team, please notifiy your coach if you will definetly not be in attendance.   

Pocono Elite is your Premier Youth Flag Football League. The ages for the Upcoming Spring Season are Ages 6-18.

Pocono Elite is dedicated to the philosophy that all athletes will receive equal amounts of playing time regardless of skill, experience or ability. Rules and regulations are established to ensure that players play in an atmosphere of safety with a competitive balance between teams. The only league in the Pocono Area qualified to enter into NFL & USA FLAG Tournaments.

It's now time to start thinking Bigger and better than before.   Pocono Elite Youth Football is looking to expand its horizons with an indoor facility that can be utilized all year long.   We are currently seeking sponsors and donations to meet our objectivies.
